Role

As Children's Services Manager for Caern Services you will be critical to the delivery of our services. You should be warm, outgoing, authentic, inspiring and passionate about the work you and your services do to support and amplify the voices of the most vulnerable children, young people and families in our society.

The Children's Services Manager in Caern holds a pivotal and multi-faceted role in Barnardo's. Not only will you be an innovator and talent spotter who listens to service users and staff, using their feedback to continually refine and develop the support children and young people receive; you will also influence and operate as a critical friend to other agencies, in order to maintain and develop Barnardo's reputation as an advocate for Children, Young People and Families.

Staff and volunteers will look to you to lead and inspire them to be at their best by keeping a focus on their wellbeing, support and development and by providing dedicated time to talk.

If this describes you, we currently have a permanent vacancy for a Children's Services Manager in our Caern Services. Please refer to the additional information sheet included in the application pack for further detail about the Service.

Please Note: Interviews will be held on 3 August 2022. We would request that you hold this date until you hear from us further.

We will also hold a waiting list of suitable candidates to be considered in the event that other similar vacancies arise in the next 12 months.

Barnardo's offers a hybrid working model covered under our `Work from Anywhere' Framework, therefore vacancies advertised with this as an opportunity are open for applicants to either work from home or any location within the UK, including Barnardo's Hub/Office that is a reasonable distance from your home address.
