Role

The National Lead (Scotland) role is a vitally important role as we seek to increase our profile, influence and impact in Scotland. The successful candidate will spearhead our work in Scotland as we seek to end the pain and suffering of eating disorders.

We are looking for an excellent relationship builder who is able to build impactful connections with politicians, civil servants, clinicians, third sector partners, those affected by eating disorders and others to promote Beat, the support we provide, and the changes we are calling for.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable representing Beat in the media and to stakeholders and who is able to champion Beat. We also want someone who can represent the needs of Scotland internally, and ensure that our strategy, plans and communications will maximise our impact in Scotland.

Beat offers 5.25 weeks of annual leave + bank holidays which increases after 2 years, by a day a year to a maximum of 6 weeks. Additionally Beat provides membership of a Cash Plan Scheme to all employees and offers flexible working.
