Barnardo's Safer Choices is a specialist service targeted specifically at children and young people aged 18 years and under who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing sexual and criminal exploitation.
The service makes contact with children and young people via street work, through group work in residential schools/children's houses and in mainstream schools as well as engaging in intensive 1:1 support.
We have developed a partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and Police Scotland to support and facilitate return discussions with children and young people upon their return from a missing episode and we are looking to specifically recruit to this partnership service.
Flexibility
Barnardo's believe in creating equality of opportunity in the workplace and supporting people to manage their work-life balance; we are therefore open to offering flexible working arrangements.
