Role

Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to join a dynamic network of environmental charities, all working together to restore and protect Scotland’s environment?

We are looking for you! We are seeking a new Agriculture Advocacy Officer on a fixed term initially for 20 months, part-time basis, (21 hours per week). We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful individual, with some experience in advocacy and an understanding of the agricultural sector in Scotland. This is a varied and interesting role where you will be supporting LINK’s new campaign, Farm for Scotland’s Future, producing advocacy briefings, and supporting LINK’s Food and Farming Group. This is a fun role, with potential to learn and grow within LINK’s small team and offers the opportunity to work closely with other environmental NGOs, all working towards the protection and restoration of nature.

This role would suit anyone with experience in advocacy and policy work and with understanding of the environment and agricultural sectors in Scotland. Someone who is energetic, with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. This role works with eNGO members of LINK’s Food and farming Group and LINK staff. It also reaches out to other LINK Groups whose work is impacted by agricultural practice in Scotland.
