Role

Working collaboratively, as Junior Business Analyst you will analyse, design, and develop digital solutions to improve Home Energy Scotland processes and digital customer journeys.

The role

  • You will be part of a team who put customer experience at the heart of everything and will use your business analysis skills and digital knowledge to put user needs at the forefront of our processes and tools. Supporting the assistant customer experience manager – digital services, you will analyse existing tools and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, as well as support with the design, development and implementation of new digital tools and processes.
  • Liaising with a variety of Home Energy Scotland stakeholders, both internal and external, you will gather requirements and user needs, and work with relevant teams across the organisation to develop and implement improvements to our services, which are designed to work well for both customers and all other key stakeholders involved.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of key Home Energy Scotland digital tools. This includes identifying improvements, writing up and prioritising requirements, liaising with relevant stakeholders and developers, carrying out regular user testing, analysing feedback and implementing improvements.
  • Work closely with the Web Development team and other relevant Home Energy Scotland stakeholders to identify improvements and opportunities for digital solutions and automation, while also actioning recommendations from the existing Home Energy Scotland digital roadmap.
  • Carry out business analysis duties for digital Home Energy Scotland tools and projects, including supporting wider digital projects that improve the customer experience of Home Energy Scotland customers, project managing where necessary.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and in writing
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and meaningfully use feedback
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks in a demanding environment

This is a permanent position. We are open to flexible working patterns and blended (home and office-based) working is possible for this role.
