As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children and young people and providing quality youth work and employability services we are seeking to recruit for the following post:
Youth Development Worker (Employability)
£25,052 pro rata, 28 hours per week fixed term for 1 year
This post will lead on the delivery of the NOLB Activity Agreement Programme. Canongate Youth is the city centre hub for this programne and takes referrals from across the city. The postholder will work directly with young people to agree a bespoke package of activity to encourage and support them in taking their next step towards a positive destination. We are looking for someone with experience in employability support and training and a person-centred approach to supporting young people aged 16-24 years.
