Role

Do you have expertise in working with children, young people and families who are experiencing significant challenges at home and/or in school? Are you keen to work enthusiastically, creatively, and flexibly to support families? We would like to hear from you.

Barnardo's Falkirk Home School Partnership Service works in a range of primary and secondary schools within Falkirk Council. The aim of the service is to provide early help and support to address disadvantage and adversity that prevents children/young people from having equal opportunities to achieve their full potential in education.

We are looking for people with:

A relevant qualification and experience of working within youth work, childcare, education, health, social work/social care. Ideally, experience of individual and group work in communities, with partner agencies, within or alongside an educational setting.

Our service operates flexibly to respond to the needs of our families and we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who might be interested in working full-time or part-time. We would also be prepared to consider flexible working arrangements.
