Role

This is an exciting time for an Evidence and Data Analyst to join Children 1st as we undertake an ambitious project to transform our approach to recording how we work alongside children and families.

Our goal is to develop an integrated system which:

  • supports our work with children and families
  • respects the rights of those whose data we hold
  • allows us to evidence the quality and impact of our work

We want to ensure that we can demonstrate the difference our work makes to children and families. Our new Evidence and Data Analyst will provide rigour, insight and expertise in developing and analysing data in our new national recording system. A critical role will be an ability to communicate our work to support service development, funding requirements and our influencing work. This is a role that requires strong quantitative and qualitative data skills to ensure that we can robustly evidence the impact of our work across Scotland.

We want someone who shares our values. We want someone who recognises that the data and stories we hold for children and families are powerful and should be heard. We have recognised that we need a new way to record our relationship-based work that #Keeps the Promise and fully upholds children and families’ rights. We are investing in a new recording system to ensure this happens and this new role is a key part in delivering our strategic commitment to make a difference

This is a full time role of 35 hours per week. Based flexibly in Scotland with access to our head office based in Edinburgh.

In return you will be offered a competitive salary, 40 days annual leave inclusive of 9 days public holidays (pro rata) and flexible working opportunities.
