In Scotland around 56,000 people live with epilepsy. Epilepsy Scotland wants to ensure the needs of people with epilepsy are met and works to campaign for improved health and social care, better information provision, fairer access to employment and benefits, and an end to stigma. We aim to empower people with epilepsy to maximise their wellbeing and to fulfil whatever their potential might be.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Training Manager. The role of Training Manager is a key position in supporting the charity’s strategic goal of delivering a consistently high standard of training to professional and lay audiences across Scotland.
The Training Manager has responsibility for delivering our existing portfolio and developing new training modules to accommodate all clients including set courses and those we tailor for specific requests. In addition, you will be responsible for ongoing training of the teams, and you may be involved in the recruitment of additional team members.
Previous experience in developing and delivering training programmes is essential. You will have great interpersonal skills and be able to deliver both face-to-face and online content in an interactive and inspirational way. This is an exciting time to join our charity and play a pivotal role in equipping those, living with and supporting people with epilepsy, with relevant, accessible and impactful information.
