The Administration team plays a central part in running the operations of the Edinburgh Skylight and assisting the direct services support members. You will part of a lively and dynamic team contributing to the day-to-day operations and wider organisational goals.
A the Administrator, you will be part of the admin team supporting the day-to-day operations in the office and contributing to the wider Skylight priorities. You will act as the initial contact point for members (people experiencing homelessness who use our services) in office, over the phone and emails. You will also supervise volunteers and support staff with general enquiries.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As you will be the first point of contact for members, staff and partner agencies, you will have an approachable & professional attitude and ability to communicate with a range of audiences. You will be able to organise your workload, prioritise and work flexibly where needed. Accurate record keeping and data management are essential to the role. Overall, you will be a positive team player and work with colleagues across the skylight.
Awareness of the homelessness sector is desirable.
