Role

Thanks to support from the Scottish Government, we are delighted to be able to recruit eleven new Climate Action Network Coordinators within SCCAN.

The Scottish Government is supporting SCCAN to invest in a number of regional community climate action networks across Scotland. This is to enable consolidation and expansion of the work of existing community climate action networks and to nurture the creation of new regional networks, which can support the emergence of the regional community climate action hubs.

The regions are approximate, as it is for the local networks themselves to decide what is an appropriate size for their regional network.

Recruitment for positions in The Borders; Glasgow and Argyll and Bute will begin shortly.

The aim of the regional Network Coordinators is to build connection and understanding across community groups and create structures to enable the adoption of more strategic and collaborative approaches to the climate emergency.
