Role

The Presbytery of Forth Valley and Clydesdale offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is a, enthusiastic skilled administrator, to help resource the Presbytery Office, as its staff and key volunteers seek to support 120 congregations across Lanarkshire and Falkirk.

The Administration Officer will play a key role in shaping the experience of Ministers and volunteers when they contact the Presbytery for support, by providing a welcoming and friendly presence in the office when people call in by phone or in person.

The staff within the Presbytery are in the early stages of combining the work of the three former presbyteries, including administrative processes into a new more efficient system. The Administration Officer will be tasked with using their experience and excellent IT skills to help the Presbytery Clerk ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and shape a new organisation for the future, as well as supporting key officials who are working with congregations as they serve God within their communities.
