Who we are?
FASD Hub Scotland, part of Adoption UK provide a tiered support service for parents/carers (adoptive and biological parents, foster carers, kinship carers and step-parents) across Scotland who live with children, young people and young adults who have a history of prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE), with or without an FASD diagnosis.
What you’ll be doing
Working 20 hours a week, you will work alongside the FASD Hub providing valuable support in maintaining their databases, providing robust administrative support, and helping the team to organise and plan events.

You will
• Take a lead in administrative tasks within the team to ensure robust systems and procedures and monitoring of project this will include managing emails, scheduling meetings, note taking, liaising with external suppliers, and assisting in events planning.
• Oversee, coordinate and deliver event planning for all FASD Hub activities
• Producing and distributing newsletters
• Support the team with project planning and organisation
Who you are
Being an experienced administrator with excellent communication, record keeping and organisational skills, you will
• Be able to meet the criteria in this information pack
• Have demonstrable experience in your administrative skills
• Have experience in event planning and organisation
• The ability to use online platforms such as survey monkey, mail chimp, and digital media
• Ideally have an understanding of FASD/PAE or be willing to undertake training to expand your knowledge.
What we offer
This contract is permanent, working 20 hours with some weekend and evening work required on occasion and attracts a salary £25,300 per annum pro-rata.
The office is based in Edinburgh, and there is the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements.
