We’re now looking for a Scotland National Manager to lead our team in Scotland in a home-based, full-time role.

The Role
As the Scotland National Manager, you will manage our Scotland staff team and develop exciting new projects, partnerships and programmes for community groups and young people across Scotland.
Providing strategic direction and ensuring our operational plan and KPIs are clear, organisationally aligned and delivered upon, you will steward existing and proactively cultivate new relationships with external stakeholders at a national level.
You will ensure funded projects within Scotland are delivered in a high-quality manner,
leading through direct delivery where required and helping to prioritise projects and ongoing engagement work.
Additionally, you will:
- Hold overall responsibility for the engagement, utilisation and satisfaction targets in Scotland
- Contribute to reports and updates at a Scotland and UK level to evidence work
- Define a clear fundraising plan to meet annual targets for Scotland and create long-term funding sustainability
About You
To be considered as our Scotland National Manager, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience in either the voluntary, community or sport sectors in the UK
- Experience across the full fundraising lifecycle (identification to stewardship) across multiple fundraising streams
- Experience of acting as an organisational representative within key stakeholder environments
- Experience of initiating and managing multiple relationships and partnerships across different sectors
- Experience of line managing paid staff
- Knowledge of the community sports sector in Scotland and an understanding of issues facing small community groups and the role sport can play in a social context
Knowledge of the Scotland funding landscape would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of designing programmes and activities that balance funder and beneficiary needs.
Experience of creating regional strategies and plans would also be advantageous, as would demonstrable experience of using data and insights. Experience of managing volunteers would also be favourable.
