About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our Betterlives management team in Islington.
This exciting and rewarding role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
The main purpose of this role is to work within the wider management team in supporting day to day activities, and to support the staff team in providing excellent quality of care to service users accessing treatment cross the Borough.

Person specification
We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving service making positive changes in service users’ lives, through a non-judgemental, recovery-based approach that values the strengths and choices of those individuals.
The role requires someone with exceptional skills and who is passionate about making a difference
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual
The successful candidate must be committed to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults
Demonstratable experience of working in the substance misuse field and supporting diverse and vulnerable service users
Experience of managing a team and performance
Experience of delivering Psychosocial interventions and a range of Groups to promote behaviour change
The ability to adapt to change in an ever-developing environment
Understanding of clinical guidelines so as to support prescribing needs of service users
You will be able to make a positive impact on the lives of our Service users
Experience of Groupwork is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
