Fundraising and Finance Administrator

Role

We are seeking someone with a passion for the charity sector, experience of supporter care or finance administration, and an ambition to support donors to two of Scotland’s oldest charities, Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans.

The role is central to our team and will work with our colleagues in finance to ensure donors are thanked and donations processed as well as monthly reconciliations and the supporting the development of a first class donor care system. Our growing team has ambitious plans to grow our fundraising to ensure Sight Scotland can be there for everyone with sight loss, and their families, who need us. You will be an excellent administrator who is a team player. This role plays a pivotal role within the team to ensure that donors and supporters are cared for and nurtured in a way that feels personal to them.

With strong knowledge of all Microsoft packages and excellent attention to detail, the role holder will have a strong ability to multi task and build relationships both internally and externally.

After our re-brand and name change in October 2020, we are now in a strong position to move forward with our new and ambitious fundraising strategy, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and positive person to help us take this forward.
