We are now looking to appoint a Myeloma Information Specialist to join our Healthcare Advocacy Services Team.

To realise our long-term ambition to make myeloma history, we relentlessly pursue better outcomes for myeloma patients and patients with related conditions through a comprehensive early diagnosis programme, a unique research portfolio, our treatment access strategy, information and support services, and healthcare improvement services.

About the role

The role of the Myeloma Information Specialist is to provide a range of information and support on myeloma and related conditions to anyone affected by myeloma including patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

You will work with the team on the Myeloma UK Infoline, taking calls and responding to queries, and assisting in the development and monitoring of the Infoline and related services. You will require to develop an awareness of research and clinical developments and other initiatives in the field of myeloma and related conditions.

About you

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, and you will require to have previous experience in information delivery, as well as good IT and organisational skills. Previous experience working in oncology, haematology, clinical research, or a healthcare environment would be an advantage for this role.
