The Role of Activity Centre Manager:

Reporting to the senior management team, the Activity Centre Manager will have overall responsibility for the operational management, development, and day-to-day leadership of the centre, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and commercially successful activities.

You will oversee all aspects of centre operations, including activity delivery, staffing, facilities, equipment, and logistics, while ensuring every guest experience meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of instructors and operational staff, creating a positive, professional, and safety-led culture, supporting their training, development, and performance.

This is a hands-on, dynamic role where operational excellence, proactive problem-solving, and strong organisational skills are critical. You will ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, licensing, and safeguarding requirements, maintaining robust systems for risk assessment, incident management, and emergency planning. You will also work closely with the senior management team to achieve business targets, optimise income, and support the ongoing development of the site, facilities, and equipment.

You will bring strong operational and people-management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff while ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and customer experience. Excellent organisational, financial, and administrative skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage complex, competing priorities. You will have strong interpersonal skills, with experience building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be flexible, resilient, and willing to work hands-on, including outdoors in all weather conditions and during peak periods, including weekends. You will hold a full UK driving licence, relevant first aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain), and appropriate industry certifications. Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a compassionate and effective leader who can engage, inspire, and support others. You should have experience in adult social care, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving. You’ll bring:

• Experience in adult social care: You should have an SVQ 4 in Health and Social care, or be willing to work towards this, as well as experience leading or supporting teams in social care, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities this role brings
• Leadership skills: You’re a supportive leader - approachable, adaptable, and able to empower your team, especially during times of change or challenge
• Problem-solving: Strong critical thinking and the ability to find solutions that make a positive impact on the people we support and your team
• Knowledge of the sector: A solid understanding of the Scottish Social Care sector, including regulatory bodies such as the Care Inspectorate and SSSC

The Community Fundraising and Events Officer will be responsible for driving income generation to support the growth and sustainability of Trauma Healing Together via community fundraising initiatives. The post-holder will lead on planning, delivering, and evaluating a programme of community events, working creatively to engage individuals, volunteers, groups, and local businesses. ABOUT TRAUMA HEALING TOGETHER

As a charity we work closely with people who have experienced psychological trauma and are living with the symptoms of this. We work in partnership with trauma survivors to improve their quality of life through therapy, training and personal development, shaping future services and the understanding of trauma through research projects. We promote a holistic and multi-faceted approach to treating all types of psychological trauma, prioritising mutual understanding and respect of clients, staff and volunteers. East Ayrshire Women’s Aid support women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Team Leader to join our management team. You will lead and support a team of practitioners to deliver high quality, trauma informed services that are safe, effective and responsive to the needs of the women and children we work with.

You will be an experienced supervisor or line manager with a strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and trauma informed practice. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate others.
