Role

Would you like to work with a motivated and well-established team to deliver key interventions to young people with drug and alcohol misuse needs?

The service

Cheshire West and Chester is a fully integrated recovery service delivered by WDP. We offer free and confidential support for individuals affected by drug and alcohol problems and their families and carers.

As part of this service, we are commissioned to work with young people under the age of 18 who live in the area or those who attend schools/colleges in CWAC. WDP have unquestionable experience of delivering high performing services for YP.

Utilising our organisational experience, we deliver an outward-facing YP-specific service, balancing prevention, diversion and intervention. We are very passionate about the work we do in the hope that the young people reach their full potential.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our New Beginnings service in Cheshire West and Chester, working with a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.

This rewarding and exciting role will be key in ensuring that effective, efficient and appropriate care is planned, and managed, well for service users and that this care achieves a positive impact to the recovery of the individual.

The role will include significant travel and peripatetic outreach including into fixed youth provision settings (e.g., for example youth centres). We want to enable young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience and build self-esteem, providing harm reduction prevention advice, guidance and education,

Location

WDP Service in Cheshire West and Chester.

There is an expectation for the successful candidate to be able to work across our three service hubs in Chester, Northwich and Ellesmere Port, plus the wider North-West, as well as occasional travel to our head office in London.
