Blackhall Nursery seeks a part-time Business Manager / Administrator to join our small but dynamic management team. This is a varied and interesting role which requires a broad range of skills to assist the Manager and Board in the running of this highly regarded voluntary sector nursery for children aged between 3 and 5.
Responsibilities will include general admin, finance (including payroll), contract management, HR admin, facilities management, company secretary duties and board/committee support. Occasional attendance at evening meetings will be required.
Skills: Candidates must be numerate and have excellent oral and written communication skills, with an eye for detail and a positive, flexible, problem-solving approach. Discretion and integrity are essential. Experience of accounts / HR /management in the voluntary sector would be an advantage. The successful applicant must hold/apply for PVG scheme membership.
Qualifications: ideally educated to degree level, or with qualifications / experience in a relevant subject / or with experience which demonstrates relevant transferrable skills and knowledge.
