Role

ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Officer to join us in ensuring they have the same opportunities as everyone else.

The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of ENABLE Scotland’s Self Directed Support ‘We Can All Do It’ Project.

The Self Directed Support project provides local people with learning disabilities and their families in Fife with accurate and up to date information and impartial advice about self directed support and will link them to local community resources, support and organisations to enable them to achieve the outcomes that are important to them.

About You

The Self Directed Support project provides local people with learning disabilities and their families in Fife with accurate and up to date information and impartial advice about self directed support and will link them to local community resources, support and organisation to enable them to achieve the outcomes that are important to them.

Your role will involve Person-centred planning - applying the principles and values that SDS is more than a budget - this involves meeting people, listening, and helping them to identify their goals; planning for their goals; organising their support; completing social work paperwork and accompanying people at meetings with social work and other professionals.

We are looking for someone who is values driven, passionate about change and visualising how this should happen.
