Youth Community Support Agency is a Glasgow based charitable company working with disadvantaged young people, primarily from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.

We are recruiting an Art Therapist for YCSA’s Addressing Mental Health project, part of the nationwide New Scots Refugee Integration Delivery Project. The Addressing Mental Health project will increase specialised trauma informed support for refugees and asylum seekers aged 10 – 25, addressing their mental health and wellbeing needs which impact on their daily lives, and act as a barrier to being fully able to take up opportunities and integrate into wider society.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Art Therapist, with experience of working with children and young people, an understanding of issues impacting asylum seekers and refugees, and an interest in exploring the effectiveness of a youthwork context to therapeutic support.
