The Haven is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate, empathic Registered Nurse who has an understanding of the physical, emotional and practical challenges encountered by patients, their families and carers affected by a life limiting illness and bereavement. This new post offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative individual to work for a very successful, nationally recognised charity and to play a key role in the further development of a vibrant programme of digital support services to ensure sustainability of meaningful activities that meet the needs of current and future clients and help them to continue to face the future with hope.

The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and will need to be highly motivated, well organised and prepared to work in a very demanding voluntary and community sector environment. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality and to putting patients and families at the heart of all that you do. If you can demonstrate the knowledge and skills in the areas of: cancer, dementia and a range of neurological long term conditions; self- management, supportive and palliative care; carer and family support issues and you have a proven track record in acting with integrity, treating all with respect and of working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team then you will fit in well in our dedicated team.
