Bridges Project - Inspiring young people to build a confident future
Bridges Project is an independent, local charity which works with young people in East Lothian and Midlothian to help them manage the transition from adolescence to young adulthood and life beyond school. We assist young people to avoid long-term poverty by supporting them to acquire the skills they need to work towards managing a mainstream outcome such as employment, further education or training.
We have 2 vacancies for Independent Living Support Workers within our Skills for Life team to assist young people in East Lothian with specific housing needs to secure, maintain and sustain their own tenancies alongside supporting them to develop independent living skills.
Please note due to covid-19, these posts will most likely start supporting young people remotely and working from home
It is essential that candidates have a full, clean driving licence and constant use of a car. Membership of the PVG scheme will be an essential requirement of the post. The posts are funded by East Lothian Council. A contributory company pension scheme is offered with 10% employer contribution
