Clan Childlaw is Scotland's law centre for children and young people. If you want to be part of a team that works to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in Scotland, we are looking for an administrator to work in our Edinburgh office (although at present homeworking)
This is what one of the people who use our service said about us "Their approach, their ability to connect with young people, to link into their emotions is very good. They are so effective as communicators… … Clan work as part of a team and it’s all about the relationship. …”
We need people who can provide flexible administrative support for all our work to protect and strengthen children’s rights and improve their lives. We want to hear from people who have excellent communication and organisation skills, administrative experience gained through working within a busy office environment and some experience with finance.
We are looking to recruit this post as a full time position but we will consider applications from candidates seeking to work upwards of 21 hours per week provided that when appointed the days and hours will work in tandem with the rest of the Administration Team to provide full cover of all administrative duties (availability can be discussed at interview).
Membership of the PVG Scheme is essential for this role and the successful candidate will be required to apply for the scheme and produce an acceptable PVG Scheme Record.
Initially the post is for an eighteen-month fixed term with funding being sought to extend/make permanent
