Role

Blue Triangle’s core mission is to empower people to thrive, by delivering solutions in connected communities which focus on the needs of each individual. Our approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and wellbeing focused, and aims to ensure that in Scotland, everyone is able to access support whenever, and for however long, they need it.

As our new Chief Executive, you will work closely with an ambitious and caring Board to agree on the core focus and future strategic direction of the organisation. Together, we will ensure we provide love and deliver real value to those people who are most in need of our services while maintaining strong governance and finances. This will include the development of a new strategic plan, identifying opportunities to diversify income streams and overseeing the development of services that meet both the current and future needs of all the people that Blue Triangle supports.

As an inclusive and collaborative leader with the ability to effectively engage with staff across all levels of the organisation, our new Chief Executive will need to embrace innovation and look at new ways of delivering services. Focused on raising the profile of Blue Triangle using the voices of those people we support, you will ensure we play a more leading and direct role in developing and shaping policy, including involvement in the Scottish Government’s conversation on supported accommodation and wider homelessness agenda.

As an accomplished communicator, you will have demonstrable credibility representing an organisation to a diverse range of key external stakeholders coupled with a strong understanding of Blue Triangle’s values and mission.

If you share our passion to empower people to thrive and are excited by the prospect of directly shaping the future of our organisation please contact Douglas Adam, our retained recruitment advisor, at Livingston James on 0141 375 7333 to learn more.
