Role

Falkirk Trinity Church lies in the heart of Falkirk and is part of the Church of Scotland. We worship in the historic town centre building known as ‘The Faw Kirk’, from which the town takes its name. But more than simply a building, we believe the Church is first and foremost a people. To this end, we have developed a Family Life Centre within the Church. Under the Family Life Centre umbrella, we seek to meet various needs in our local community. For example, we work with young people and their families through our Play Therapy service, we run bereavement support groups regularly throughout the year, we have a Donation Station to support our own projects and charities and we support the elderly in our community.

We have a range of versatile, functional and welcoming spaces available for hire. We have hosted all types of events, from church events to concerts, book readings, weddings, conferences, rehearsals or meetings and more. The church is fitted with an excellent AV system, offering brilliant clarity for all presentation, sound and lighting needs. We also welcome numerous organisations to our building for their regular meetings.

You will be expected to be based in Falkirk Trinity Church the majority of the time but there is the flexibility to work remotely from home where work priorities allow.
