Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to join our staff team to deliver on all aspects of an exciting new project for our charity. We require someone with excellent communication skills, who can engage effectively with a wide range of agencies and people who are bereaved/impacted by suicide.

Candidates should have excellent project management, organisational, interpersonal and IT skills to deliver on all aspects of this role.

You will be required to establish effective working relationships with a range of Cruse staff, volunteers, partner agencies (including multi agency group) funder and other key stakeholders.

The key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the work of the Suicide Bereavement Support Project for Perth & Kinross, by improving access to bereavement support for adults in P&K by identifying gaps in suicide bereavement support and good practice. The project will make recommendations to P&K HSCP regarding improvement to services and pathways to enable a co-ordinated and joined-up response across the whole of the Perth & Kinross area.

The post can be a combination of home & office based in Perth. Some occasional travel in Scotland will be necessary.
