Then we want to speak to you!
A fantastic opportunity has become available within the fundraising function of Alzheimer Scotland to join our busy and motivated Stakeholder Engagement team, to deliver significant income and sustain our mission to ensure nobody faces dementia alone.
The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will report to the Head of Stakeholder Engagement and will have specific responsibilities to deliver on our Trust and Grants programme. You will be key to maintaining and cultivating relationships with prospective funders and securing a portfolio of sustained high-level income through trust and grants. Whilst this will be your focus, you will also work alongside and support the wider Stakeholder Engagement team across all income streams, ensuring no two days are the same.
In the Stakeholder Engagement Team, we always look to establish an informed relationship with our supporters before requesting monetary support. Your fundraising experience will be stretched to new limits to ensure all fundraising engagement activity leads with a story, along with an emotive and meaningful exchange. You will understand the need to move away from transactional fundraising and be able to help us secure and develop supporter-led strategic partnerships, whilst supporting the overall team to embed this approach throughout the organisation, particularly amongst our locality colleagues.
We are looking for someone who is naturally optimistic, with a can-do attitude. Applicants are required to demonstrate results, whilst thriving within a fast-paced and varied environment. You will be comfortable working independently, a self-starter, who enjoys creative thinking and building meaningful relationships. Successful applicants will have a positive approach to dementia, along with excellent communication skills and a caring attitude. A willingness to learn and participate in training will also be expected.
In return we offer a fantastic range of benefits along with a supportive approach to work life balance.
