Role

Tiphereth Camphill in Edinburgh is seeking an Assistant House Co-Ordinator to join our team who has experience working within the Health & Social Care Sector. Tiphereth provides a range of support services for adults with learning disabilities and autism, with a focus on building meaningful relationships and community.

We are seeking a confident and passionate individual, who has experience in working within the Health & Social Care sector. The candidate will have an interest in working as part of a team to support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to live in their own homes, both in shared and individual environments within a Camphill Community.

You will be joining an innovative and creative environment, providing both on the ground care and support for our members as well as leading your team of co-workers. The job role will focus on the management and co-ordination of a team of co-workers, producing rotas and completing required paperwork to be able to staff and support the houses effectively.

Furthermore, you will support the planning of a range social and cultural experiences, whilst supporting the access to meaningful work to enhance the life experience and holistic wellbeing of our members.

You will be part of the supported living team which ensures an excellent standard of support and care for the people living in our community and maintain regulatory standards within the team. You will provide support and supervision for co-workers and develop individuals within the team.

The hours of work are variable depending on the individual needs of our members and the service as a whole and requires evening and weekend work, we operate an ‘on call’ service, which is managed on a rostered basis.

Most of all you will have a flexible and adaptable personality with a willingness to work as part of a team, and embrace working in a vibrant community setting, that values everyone equally.
