The Iona Community seeks applications to fill two vacancies on its Council as Director/Trustee. Membership of the Council can be for one or two four-year terms, with members rotating off after a maximum of eight years’ service.

Applications are particularly encouraged from people aged 18 – 30 as we try to improve the age diversity of our Council

As those from minority racial or ethnic groups, of female gender and younger people are currently under-represented on the Council, applications from those individuals would be particularly encouraged. All appointments will be made on merit, following a fair and transparent process. In line with the Equality Act 2010, however, the Iona Community may employ positive action where candidates from underrepresented groups can demonstrate their ability to perform the role equally well.
