Working closely alongside other teams across Scotland, you will develop and implement an Active Travel Strategy for Scottish Canals. You will develop a strategic funding pipeline that reflects this strategy and the placemaking priorities within the Scottish Canals Corporate plan. You will identify and develop long term match funding opportunities for the active travel programme, including liaising with funders to discuss potential projects and submitting funding applications.

Competency in using GIS (geographic information system) mapping would be advantageous.

We ask you to demonstrate your knowledge of the funding environment, identifying new opportunities writing applications, bids, and proposals.
