By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Trusts and Foundations Officer you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.
This is an exciting role that will see you working to make a real difference to the lives of the one in five Scots living with a chest, heart or stroke condition.
With a passion for writing and great attention to detail, you will build strong relationships both internally across CHSS departments and externally with funders. You’ll be responsible for making written applications to trust and statutory sources, creating proposals and impact reports, and building face-to-face relationships to ensure we have the funds needed to continue our lifechanging work. We value candidates with transferable skills for example from a sales, marketing or customer-facing backgrounds with strong writing abilities.
The Trust and Foundation Office will be joining a hard-working and talented fundraising team, working closely with our Assistant Director of Fundraising as well as the wider fundraising team.
We are looking for an excellent writer, who is great at developing relationships, and can manage a busy and varied workload. This is a chance for you to channel your passion for writing to make a real impact on the health of people in Scotland.
CHSS operates a 32.5 hour week but we are willing to consider a shorter working week for the right candidate. This is a hybrid role which can be delivered from home with occasional visits to our office in Edinburgh.
