Monica Lennon MSP is looking for a Casework and Community Engagement Officer to join her team
You will become part of a small team supporting Monica Lennon MSP in her Central Scotland regional office. You will often be the first point of contact for constituents and local organisations in a role that will involve attending advice surgeries and meetings in the many towns and villages throughout the region.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about helping people living and working in Central Scotland. You will need to have excellent communication and planning skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrate exceptional organisational skills. No two days or locations are the same. The role would suit someone who can thrive in an office environment, attend regional meetings and visits, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
If you are keen to ensure that people across parts of South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire & Falkirk have an advocate on local and national issues, and you can offer knowledge and understanding of the communities and campaigns that are important to Monica’s regional work, we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be required to manage a varied mix of constituency casework, correspondence and projects. Normal working hours are 0900 to 1700, with occasional evening and weekend work.
