Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to join Multi-Cultural Family Base. You will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient administration processes, managing buildings and spaces, taking part in HR and IT support, as well as working the Chief Executive and Board to ensure Multi-Cultural Family Base continues to deliver the unique, specialised support that has been on-going for more than 20 years.

MULTI-CULTURAL FAMILY BASE is an innovative organisation which seeks to improve the lives of children and families with the principles of social justice, anti-racism and anti-discrimination at its core. Approximately 60% of our multidisciplinary workforce is from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) background.

The organisation’s key objective is to support BAME individuals, children and parents deal with important transition points - this can be the birth of a child, the move into primary school or the move to Edinburgh for families who are refugee and asylum seekers or new migrants. In addition, we combine our service delivery with student learning by providing high quality and diverse placement opportunities for social work students from academic institutions across Scotland.
