The Access & Inclusion Support Worker was created to
1) increase access to support for survivors of sexual violence in Highland and
2) ensure RASASH’s services are as inclusive as possible.
The post-holder will work on an outreach basis, travelling across Highland to provide in-person emotional support to survivors living in remote and rural communities.
The worker will also conduct community engagement, particularly with marginalised groups, to increase awareness of our services and better understand how RASASH can meet their needs.
The worker will take a strengths-based approach, harnessing the expertise and skills of groups/individuals, and actively involving them in making improvements to our service, including the development of support resources and materials.
