Role

Stakeholder Engagement Leader - Trust, Grants & Legacies

Stakeholder Engagement Leader – Corporate Partnerships

Stakeholder Engagement Leader – Events & Campaigns

Three fantastic opportunities have become available within the fundraising team to support and deliver the charity’s Stakeholder Engagement strategy to Prevent, Care and Cure dementia and ensure all income generation activities sustain our mission to ensure nobody faces dementia alone.

The three Stakeholder Engagement Leader roles will work across the whole team, but will each have specific responsibility for one of three areas: Trust and Grants, Corporate Partnerships or Events and Campaigns. Each Stakeholder Engagement Leader will work closely with the Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Lead of Stakeholder Engagement in their respective areas and will have support from a Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator.

Stakeholder Engagement Leader - Trust, Grants & Legacies

The first role will lead on the development of our trust and grants programme and will be key to maintaining and cultivating relationships with prospective funders. The Stakeholder Engagement Leader will be integral to securing a portfolio of sustained high-level income through trust and grants and will bring a track record of securing large gifts in this way. The role will also be responsible for the administration of our legacy gifts.

Stakeholder Engagement Leader – Corporate Partnerships

In our second role we are looking for an experienced Corporate Fundraiser who can build strong relationships with our partners to maximise income and engagement. It’s an exciting role with a diverse portfolio of partnerships in sectors such as legal, retail, arts and culture and healthcare.

Stakeholder Engagement Leader – Events & Campaigns

The third role will take a lead on all annual fundraising campaigns, including Memory Walk, Tea & Blether, and our winter appeal. These campaigns are a staple in the Alzheimer Scotland calendar and the Stakeholder Engagement leader will collaborate with all areas of the organisation, including with our Communications & Marketing team as well as our Locality teams, to deliver on these campaigns. The role will also oversee third party events and Facebook Campaigns.

Each role will support all income streams associated with the team; community fundraising, corporate, digital fundraising etc. but will have a particular responsibility for their own areas to grow sustained income in line with the organisational strategy.

At Alzheimer Scotland, we believe no monetary ask should be made, until a meaningful supportive relationship is established, and so your fundraising experience will be stretched to new limits to ensure all fundraising engagement activity leads with a story, along with an emotive and meaningful exchange. You will be tasked to move towards a supporter lead mutually beneficial partnership, whilst supporting the overall team to embed this approach throughout the organisation, particularly amongst our locality colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is naturally optimistic, with a can-do attitude. Applicants are required to demonstrate results, whilst thriving within a fast-paced and varied environment. You will be comfortable working independently, a self-starter, who enjoys creative thinking and building meaningful relationships. Successful applicants will have a positive approach to dementia, along with excellent communication skills and a caring attitude. A willingness to learn and participate in training, will also be expected.

In return we offer a fantastic range of benefits along with a supportive approach to work life balance.

Access to a car may be essential depending on responsibilities agreed.
