Role

Argyll and Bute Women’s Aid (“ABWA”) is a specialist provider of support to women, children and young people who are currently experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.

We provide safe temporary accommodation in our refuge, crisis support, advocacy, phone, virtual and outreach support.

We are a committed team of Support and Accommodation Workers ensuring the women, children, and young people we support are able to live a life free from abuse.

As a Trustee you will be part of a committed team supporting women, children, and young people and supporting ABWA to achieve our vision and goals.

ABWA welcomes applicants based all over Scotland, in particular those with legal, human resources, compliance and regulation experience to help us take our vison forward.

Restrictions: Please note; Women only need apply (under Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010).

Experience required: ABWA welcome all applicants and in particular those with human resources, legal, compliance, and regulation experience. Trustee meetings are held quarterly by Microsoft Teams.
