Role

Training in the Mentoring approach will be provided through the Scottish Mentoring Network. The service would operate on two strands: practical and emotional support and personal development planning. Trained Mentors would help individuals leaving RR to navigate the landscape they’re returning to. Mentors would work with them to establish and access recovery opportunities and activities within the Beacons and also link them with wider services where necessary, including mutual aid, housing, benefits, and other wraparound networks.

The Mentor post is aimed at mentoring, supporting and advising people at this critical transitioning stage of their lives.
