Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Due to recent promotions within the HR Team we are looking for a motivated HR Adviser to join our dynamic team of professionals.

The Role

As our HR Adviser you will assist in the effective management, planning and delivery of HR support across CHAS.

You will have the opportunity to join a talented, fun and dynamic team. Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative HR strategies, policies and programs you will enhance our people experience, talent acquisition, development and retention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a source of professional and proactive expertise to provide advice, information and practical support to line managers and staff with sensitive and confidential issues including attendance management, capability, grievance, disciplinary, appraisal, organisational change, workforce planning and job evaluation in accordance with HR policies and procedures across all CHAS sites and teams
  • Ensure a consistency of approach to all HR policies and practices across CHAS and keep abreast of new developments in HR practice and legislation to ensure legal compliance and best in class HR service is delivered.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a holistic wellbeing provision, including engagement events and developing new ideas on best ways to enable our people to perform at their best.
  • Assist in the provision and analysis of comprehensive HR management information, analysing people data and producing relevant reports to inform decision making.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the CHAS people strategy, leading on key HR initiatives and projects.
  • Work in partnership with L&OD team to identify training needs and create development plans. Creating course content and delivering staff training where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, coaching and influencing to progress and implement initiatives that promote an inclusive and engaging culture

About you

You will be a proactive HR Adviser with an ability to collaborate with others and develop strong and effective working relationships.

You will have:

  • Experience of influencing and guiding managers on a wide range of HR matters and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practice and employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to analyse and interpret HR data and make informed decisions
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and drive
