Role

Rosemount Development Trust is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a broad skill set and experience of delivering community led regeneration.

Working closely with the community of Royston and Partners on the Royston Strategy Group the Trust is seeking to address the challenging problem of vacant and derelict land and buildings in Royston.

The post-holder will develop practical and innovative approaches to bringing different types of problematic sites back into productive use, two of which are already in progress, Provanhill Street and Glenconner Park. Both projects will be an initial priority for any successful candidate to take forward.

As the Community Development Officer, you will have excellent interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively and innovatively with the local community and businesses, our partners, Glasgow City Council and external Consultants.

This is a unique post which will require excellent negotiating and communication skills, and knowledge of funding/financing and local initiatives and regeneration projects.

The post-holder will be based at Rosemount Business Park, 141 Charles Street, G21 2QA.
