Role

Edinburgh One Stop Shop provides drop-in, 1-1 sessions and interest groups for autistic adults who do not have a learning disability. The service provides a safe, supportive environment where autistic adults can meet others, develop social networks and receive support with a variety of practical issues.

The Employment & Benefits Coordinator will help to develop and deliver a wide range of needs-led services by effective liaison with a range of external agencies, professionals, parents and carers.

You will have a good understanding of autism and the potential difficulties faced by autistic adults in the areas of employment and benefits. The ability to provide support with finding and retaining employment, and the skills to fill out benefits applications are essential. You will also have the ability to deliver workshops and training to a range of audiences.
