About the role

Our Corporate Services team is the engine room of Cyrenians, supporting our people and services to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness.

As Property Officer you will:

  • Have a direct impact in how the organisation manages our residential, commercial, and agricultural properties, making sure Cyrenians’ staff and service users have great places in which to work and live.
  • Play a big part in the development and implementation of our property policies & procedures which will shape our overall property management plan.
  • Be involved in various property and capital projects across the organisation by offering your support and expertise.
  • Supervise the day to day activities of a small team and making sure communication and lines of reporting to other departments are established.
  • Be part of a fast-paced environment surrounded by driven and supportive colleagues where you can learn, grow, and flourish.

About you

You’ll be an experienced property officer with an organised, proactive and collaborative approach to delivery of facilities management and property services within a multi-site organisation.

As you’ll have the opportunity to work and develop relationships with a broad range of people (internally and externally), you’ll be flexible and approachable, with the ability to adapt your communication style to achieve shared goals.

How we’ll support you

You’ll be part of an experienced, knowledgeable team, with a supportive manager, who will help you develop and grow in your role. You’ll also have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning programme, and staff wellbeing services.

We understand that there are many routes into homelessness, and that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to supporting people towards more positive and stable futures. That’s why all our work is values-led and relationships-based.
