What You’ll Do
As Volunteer Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of building a stronger community and making a tangible difference in families' lives. A pivotal team member, you'll take the lead in recruiting passionate volunteers, seamlessly blending their experiences into our workforce, and amplifying the impact of our projects within the community. You'll empower volunteers to flourish personally and professionally, supporting their journey toward a brighter future through impactful interactions like home visits and one-on-one sessions. Collaborating within and beyond our organisation, you'll optimise opportunities, build partnerships, streamline processes, and champion change as an unwavering voice for families supported by Fife Gingerbread.
What We Need
To excel in this role, a solid grasp of Child Wellbeing, Poverty, and Whole Family Support is key. Your hands-on experience engaging volunteers and aiding families facing diverse challenges is vital. Navigating intricate issues, maintaining strong organisational skills, and fostering clear communication are essential for effective teamwork and interdisciplinary partnerships. Your ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and employ Microsoft Office tools is crucial. Additionally, a minimum education level of SCQF Level 7 or equivalent in a related field is expected. For added flexibility, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous due to travel across Fife, however accommodations can be discussed during interviews.
