Role

The Forget Me Notes Project is an Edinburgh-based charity that uses music to build community, combat social isolation and encourage self-expression.

Our work includes:

• Music Memories Sessions that take place in care homes and other community settings

• Three choirs (one on Zoom, one in Saughton Park and one indoors)

• A Volunteer Project where volunteers are trained to take music into people’s homes

This is an exciting time of growth for the charity and we are now looking for an experienced and professional Administrator who will provide support across all of the charity’s activities.

Working alongside our small staff team (Chief Executives and Volunteer Coordinator) this will be a key role, ensuring that operations and systems run smoothly and acting as the first point of contact for people getting in touch with Forget Me Notes.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be passionate about putting our values into practice.

The post will be mostly based at home (remote working) with some in-person meetings and is for 10 hours per week with a salary of £6,240 (£21,840 FTE). It is a 1-year fixed-term contract in the first instance. If you would like an informal chat about the role please contact paul@forgetmenotes.org.uk
