Are you a HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity? We are looking for a motivated HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team of professionals.

The Role

As our HR Business Partner you will play a crucial role in partnering with our leaders to drive strategic HR initiatives, and ensure alignment of HR practice with our people strategy.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative HR strategies, policies and programs that will enhance our talent acquisition, development and retention efforts.

Acting as a partner to our clinical care team, you will provide coaching, guidance and support on all HR matters, including talent management, workforce planning, performance management, organisational change, attendance, job evaluation and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will provide expertise, analysis and coaching in partnering managers across our nursing, family support and medical teams to identify, manage and evaluate workforce issues and trends and deliver HR solutions to support our people
  • Act as a source of professional and proactive expertise to provide advice and information as well as practical support to Line Managers and staff. This will include sensitive and confidential issues
  • Support leaders to implement workforce modernisation including new ways of working and new HR models and tools which enable organisational and cultural change
  • Support the Head of HR in the prioritisation, planning, management and delivery of key HR Initiatives. Some of these initiatives will include; key projects and change programmes, facilitating employee involvement and identifying risk to support CHAS’s strategic objectives and plan
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify areas of focus or improvement and develop strategies to enhance engagement, performance, retention and employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, coaching and influencing to progress strategies and initiatives that promote an inclusive and engaging culture
  • Provide training and coaching on HR policies, procedures and HR systems.
  • Oversee employee relation matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance matters
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and HR best practice, sharing knowledge and recommending enhancement to existing practise
  • Working with the HR Team to drive continuous improvement, streamlining internal processes and harnessing innovative technologies to ensure our people receive a first-class HR service.

About you

You will be a proactive HR Business Partner with an ability to collaborate with others and develop strong and effective working relationships.

You will have:

  • Experience of influencing and guiding managers on all HR related matters and have the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practice and employment law
  • Proven experience of advising on a wide range of HR topics in a generalist role, with the ability to balance project work alongside daily operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to analyse and interpret HR data and make informed decisions
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive and implement change initiatives
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent IT skills, fully conversant in Microsoft Office suite. Additional expertise in Microsoft Office 365 tools is preferred.
