We provide accessible and relevant ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learning opportunities for adults, supporting integration, employability and personal development.

We support ESOL practitioners and learners to have their views heard.

We welcome all non-native English speakers, including asylum seekers, refugees, economic migrants and members of settled communities.

Following a successful funding application to UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund (Multiply), Glasgow ESOL Forum are pleased to be launching a small ESOL and numeracy project. The project will work with adults learning English who wish to develop numeracy skills. The provision will include small groups and individual provision.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of teaching numeracy and ESOL for the position of development worker. Your role will be to develop organisational learning on ESOL and numeracy in order to deliver provision aimed at adults. This will include developing resources for delivery and supporting volunteers and sessional tutors. You will develop our community-based ESOL and numeracy provision by maintaining and developing good relationships with our partners, our tutors and our learners.

All applicants will be educated to degree level, or equivalent and have an ESOL qualification and have experience in teaching numeracy to adults.
