The Volunteering and Participation Development Officer is a new role within CVS Falkirk’s Empowering Communities Programme funded through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund. The successful candidate will work across the Falkirk and District area and more specifically within two identified communities to support and develop volunteering by seeking to increase community participation and volunteering through community engagement, active citizenship, capacity building support, and the development of supportive infrastructures to enable and coordinate community led activities and engagement.
The Volunteering and Participation Development Officer will support groups and organisations to develop inclusive and meaningful opportunities and placements for people to become volunteers.
