Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Lanarkshire to be part of a Consortium working in partnership with Simon Community and Blue Triangle to provide an outreach, intensive support service, in conjunction with North Lanarkshire Council.

The positions will be an intensive Floating Support Role, based within the North Lanarkshire area and supporting service users referred by North Lanarkshire Council, Homes First Team who may be in other temporary accommodation or in their own tenancy where this intense support may prevent them from losing this accommodation.

The service users will come from the harder to engage group and be case managed by North Lanarkshire Council Homes First Team, whilst intensely supported by BTHA, Simon Community and Barnardos.

You should be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, committed and experienced support worker, able to use their own initiative and with the skills to hit the ground running. This is a great opportunity to further develop your skills and experience.

These posts will be 37 hours per week and you must have the flexibility to work at times in the evenings and at weekends dependant on service user's needs and hold valid driving license with access to own transport

If successful, you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of your start date. After registration, there is a requirement to be qualified and to maintain professional learning.
