Operated by ENABLE Glasgow, Fortune Works is one of Scotland’s largest social enterprises which provides meaningful opportunities for people with a learning disability within Glasgow and surrounding areas. The service combines accessible social and enterprising activities, with individualised support for people to make a positive contribution to their community.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in our Growing Together Project*. Our Growing Together project is aiming to expand its therapeutic horticulture service, enabling individuals with learning disabilities to have increased access to its garden service activities.
Our Growing Together Coordinator will undertake a senior role in the care and support of service users with a learning disability, staff and volunteers as well as playing a lead role within the staff team and contributing positively to the development of the Growing Together project, along with all appropriate agencies.
The post holder will work with service users to maintain and develop the existing Garden Centre service and seek out potential new volunteers, contracts and funding opportunities, as well as supporting social interaction with the general public at every opportunity.
We also require the post holder to support and supervise staff in the delivery of the Caley Awards - a Grow and Learn Project- that has a horticultural award scheme, recognising individual progress and achievement through experiential learning and personal development. The award offers the learner the opportunity to work within a structured framework, but is also flexible enough to ensure a person centred approach; enabling accessibility for people with a learning disability or complex learning need.

The Role
As our senior IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will support the Head of ICT and Digital Transformation to make technically sound and financially astute infrastructure choices which provide a stable, secure and resilient IT environment for our more than 2000 colleagues. Your role will include investigating and resolving ICT systems and process issues, suggesting improvements and liaising with third part contractors providing hardware, software and other ICT related services ensuring that agreed SLA’s are met.
You will be responsible for the management, administration and operation of our Azure and 365 environments and play a key roll in our infrastructure and systems upgrade projects. A key function of your role will be to provide third line backup for the support team. There may be times that you will be required to lend a hand to our first line IT Support function, along with providing coaching and mentoring.

What we'll need you to bring;
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyse and interpret statistical data and to present informative reports.
- Significant experience of working as an integral part of an IT department in a large organisation.
You will need to demonstrate expertise and a willingness to be responsible for;
- Azure (Windows server management)
- Azure Active Directory and Group policy.
- Microsoft 365, including exchange.
- Basic network management & configuration (including VOIP)
- Desktop & Desktop virtualisation (RDS)
- Expert skills in performance tuning, systems monitoring and troubleshooting.
It would be great if you had;
- Degree in I.T. (or related professional qualification – MCSA,MCSE)

The role

As Project Manager, you will implement these best practice processes into our teams through colleague engagement, communication and training.
Reporting to the Director of Delivery, you will lead a small, dedicated project team and tap into the expertise and support of the wider Cornerstone organisation to deliver this strategically important project.
To be successful in this role, you will be;
- An experienced project manager, able to create and maintain cohesive project plans using a project management tool such as MS project or similar to manage tasks, resources, schedules and create reports.
- A skilled communicator, able to negotiate and influence with diplomacy and tact.

We are looking for a full-time support worker on a permanent basis to work with a very active young man, providing 1:1 support within a shared supported living setting.
I am a 34-year-old man with autism. I live in a flat with 3 other young men and I am an active part of my community. I attend two different day services on site four days a week. The Printmaking studio and the Peregrine’s of which I am a founding member and which I have attended for 10 years. I particularly enjoy being outdoors and litter picking. I enjoy languages and am good at puzzles like crosswords and also enjoy watching quiz shows and cartoons. I am healthy and enjoy physical exercise, particularly walking. I have a large family who I am close to, and I sometimes get the train home independently to see them.
I have very good verbal skills, however I can struggle to articulate myself and find this frustrating. I require clear communication, avoiding long sentences, open questions or abstract language. At times I get overwhelmed with situations and find it challenging to communicate my needs, at these times I need a gentle approach in order to move forward and be able to finish my set task.
I am looking for someone to provide support with activities like going to the gym, going for long hikes and generally further developing my core life-skills. I really benefit from 1:1 support and focussed attention although I also need personal space at times. I am looking to build on my ability to do things independently and to develop my sense of self and agency. I need someone to support me to plan and organise skill building sessions in order for me to become more independent which is my greatest wish. For example I would like to be able to travel on the bus and go to the shop by myself.
The ideal candidate for this role would:
- Have experience working with people with autism
- Have experience in managing stressed and distressed behaviour
- Be reasonably physically fit and able to provide support with physical exercise
- Be patient and empathic
- Be a clear communicator and able to work as part of a small team.

In this role you will support the Direct Help and Support (DHS) Manager to deliver services and meet the strategic aims of the organisation. You will lead our Children and Young People Service, overseeing a range of projects and service level agreements, supporting neurodivergent children and young people across Scotland, aged up to 25. This includes management of a team of Children and Young People Outreach Specialists. Our highly skilled staff team is neurodiverse, and it is essential that Team Leaders support our team to achieve their full potential.
You may also manage an individual case load, providing 1:1 issue-based advocacy to neurodivergent children and young people.
